Our body consists of one quarter solids and three quarters water. A person weighing 80 kg contains about 55 to 60 litres of water. Our body is built in such a way that it cannot stockpile water. We have no access to reserves when there is a shortage of water. If we do not consume water regularly, we become dehydrated.

Therefore, it is important to always drink enough fluids. The environment in which we spend time should also not be ignored. The drier the air, the more the human body loses water. A humidity of between 40 and 60 % helps to maintain the balance with a continuous increase in fluids.
